Mansory V8 Vantage Vexel by ~X-Raited is one of the most realistic car vexels I've seen lately. The level of details is outstanding! ( Featured by jussta )

I'm sure a million comments already say this, but what program did you use? And, could you outline a few basic strategies you employed to create the smooth shine effect? I've done some reflections in bodywork on MS Paint hat look cool in a stylized way, but I've never achieved such realism...

I used Adobe Photoshop CS. And i used the pen-tool to do the reflections. And when i had all the reflections in one layer i selected it, made a new layer underneath made it one or two px bigger, filled it with white and blurred it to make it look nice and smooth. And i just used the normal stroke path option with the white thin lines using the pen-tool.

That's insane, well deserved the DD, i also thought it was a 3d render at first, and even in the full view it's hard to tell what media was used. Great job!

I'm usually not fond of yellow as a color for cars, but I do agree that this looks awesome
The detail is amazing, love this so much. The green one looks nice too, but the yellow one
actually looks better xD Maybe because it's so flashy and bright. xD
Congratulations on the Daily Deviation :)

I think DB9 and 5 second to 100 kmp/h (4,7 if I remember) is enough for me. This is acceleration of old Posrche 911 Turbo, Today Boxter S have 5.0 s to 100, amazing how engeeners finding this new power in almost the same powered engines.

yeah it is. Wont help me though I'll never afford a car that can do less than 10 seconds to 100. xD

You've good You've driving license :D
I need to do it first, maybe on this holiday.
I also dont know I sit in car with better acceleration then 10, for sure I have ride in train which goes 200 kmp.h. It was super fats, hard to focus eyes on something outside train, everything goes to fast.
If this is 200 then how looks 300 :D

I'm interesting in new technologies and computers so I know about trains called "Maglev".
Incredible machines, they dont have rails, they are fly on magnetic pillow milimeter above ground. No wheels, only air resistant, speed up for 540 kmp/h. To bad one kilometer of this magnetic "rails" cost one milion dolars and this technology is new so countrys dont invest in it :(
Malesia have maglev trains, Japan and Germany test track, I aslo saw on Discovery about it, maximium speed can be very big, but couse it is new technology there is rule to dont go faster then 500 kmp/h. I wish to ride someday by maglev train, eneg French TGV with it 300 isnt ipresive then :)
See You, now I goin watching Bond :)
Bye!
